[Fractal Terrains 3+] Moving the Viewing Point
I may be misunderstanding the secondary problem you mention there about lack of detail, but when you create a hi res world in FT it's usually too much detail that's the problem.
Perhaps increase the Editing Size of your world in World Settings->Editing? That may change the coastline a bit, but you will get more detail.
Remember to hit Appy.

LOL! I'm tempted to keep the road to nowhere now, but yes - it was a test. This whole map, which is about 8x the area you can see in the first shot, is a test site.
I don't know why the rivers do that. They are there and whole. It might be the way the effects are being read and displayed, though it's only an outer glow to match the inner glow on the land at the coast. It renders ok.

I should add right away that there is no need to delete a whole contour line because of one mistake. There are editing tools and methods that take a few seconds - even if you've realised you switched contours half way around. But we can talk about that closer to the time when you start mapping again. I just wanted you to know now you don't have to do that to yourself.

They weren't specifically designed for it, being more carefully graded to match the unspoken standard that each step down a level is 2/3 the area covered by the previous level. It's not exactly a specification, but it's the rule that the Mike Schley symbols seem to follow. For example the Town is 2/3 the size of the City, and the Village is 2/3 the size of the Town, and the Hamlet 2/3 the size of the Village. However, all the buildings in each symbol are the same scale so there's no reason you couldn't if you wanted to. I'm not sure they will look as great as Mike's used that way because I've given each of them an approximate circular base (circular viewed isometrically).

Live tutorial suggestions
I can't confirm or deny anything at the moment. I'm just the artist in the team, but if you think about the difference between CC3 and CC3+ a full set of tutorial vids for CC3 wouldn't cover half of what CC3+ can do in it's current form. You could update here and there, but it would be piecemeal and possibly slightly confusing as the series jumps between the two versions - no longer as coherent and simple to understand as a complete set of new vids.

2023 Annual Install Not Showing Up
I can see from your list of overland styles that the templates that should have been installed when you installed the 2023 annual are missing. They include the 13th Age Revisited style among others. Since you have tried working with our suggestions and they are still missing, please contact Tech Support using the "Ask for Help" form available on the Support tab on your registration page (when you log in to your account on the ProFantasy webpage).

The rest of this comment is information that may help when you do get the installer working.
Each annual issue comes with its own PDF mapping guide. When you use the 2023 installer there is an option to open CC3 at the end of the process. If you click yes (the default setting) this file opens.
At the top there is a hyperlink to "Click here to open the linked list of styles and mapping guides." If you click that link it takes you to this page, where you can find all the mapping guides listed with the description of each issue in the annual below the Readme Document.
Clicking the first Mapping Guide for 13th Age Revisited will open this pdf (if the installer has worked properly)
At the bottom of this page you will see a "Starting the Map" paragraph that tells you the settings needed in the New Map Wizard to start a new map of the style (in this case a new 13th Age Revisited map).
