Forest Trail project - part 1
I haven't done the reseating. I reinstalled Windows instead. That hasn't cured it - 8 blue screens yesterday. Today I had none until my second session, when it went less than 5 minutes after start up.
I know - doesn't make sense does it. Well, the UPS I ordered should be here tomorrow.
Anyway - I'm still trying to find and reinstall all my software, so carry on...

Forest Trail project - part 1
Yes, that's because they can go on any of the three. If you pick one of the three grass sheets before you pick the grass drawing tool it will go on that one. The idea was to reduce the number of sheets from 5 to 3, given that there are an awful lot of sheets in the style - so far. There are even more in part 2.
However, I can't say if Ralf intends to change that or not.
If you get a newly created "grass" sheet you can solve the problem the same way Ralf did - move it down to be with the rest of the grass sheets and copy the same effects across.

Ok, this is a benchmark image just to show I'm still working on part 2. My computer is giving me the blue screen of death on a regular basis and I will be reseating the RAM to try and cure it this evening. If I fail and it all goes wrong it will have to go for professional repair. And if that happens no work will be done for maybe a fortnight. I will also not be around on the forum in that same time.
This is the ongoing work on the waterfalls - very obviously not yet finished. The first image shows them without a shadow on the face of the cliff, and the second one with.

(WIP) Path to the Ruined Tower - A more realistic Forest Trails map
Looks great :)
The grass patches should be the same scale as the grass fill as long as they are set to the default symbol scale of 1. I have noticed that there are points as you zoom in and out of maps with a mixture of fill and patch that the patches sometimes 'click' to the next resolution slightly before the fill does. This shouldn't be a problem when exporting as all will be exported at the same resolution, but it can look like the patches are wrong in the CC3 window at certain zoom levels.
The other possible mismatch is if you are using the fill from one style and the patches from the other style. Creepy Crypts grass does not exactly match Forest Trail patches, and same vice versa. I personally prefer the Forest Trail grass texture and patches, but it's down to personal taste in the end.
