Live Mapping: Height Transitions in Dungeons and Caverns
Creepy Crypts also uses the same method, only the knockout is placed on 2 sheets with different sheet effects and different fills, so you get a rocky or cobbly wall lining the cavity you knock out. It was probably a little bit too confusing for an annual style for new mappers, but the basic concept of eating holes in the dirt and rock will hopefully become more mainstream as it frees us all from cave entrance issues and having to make floor masks.

Making new line style?
You can't make that as an all in one line style, but you can make railroad tracks without too much trouble.
This video should be helpful.

Live Mapping: WW2 Area Maps
Hi everyone! :D
Since tomorrow is a good time for some relaxed overland mapping with a classic Annual style, Ralf will be creating a map using the World War 2 Area style from the Cartographer's Annual Vol 8 in this week's Live Mapping session on YouTube.
Come along and join in the live chat on Thursday 26 September. The exact time of the show for your part of the world is shown in the sidebar on the forum.

[WIP] 1000th Map Competition: Elkton, Alarius North Central
Thanks, Remy :)
That's slightly more than the Earth. They really are going to need that temple to go and sit in the sun on those winter days when it barely skims above the crest of the hills on the other side of the valley.
EDIT: Yeah. Just realised where I got Alderan from. It's only one letter different to Alderaan. Better change that one.

[WIP] Atlas Contest : Ingensteds Village, Seal Island, Alarius
If I remember correctly that's something that happens if you have the light 360. I have a vague memory that Joe Slayton (Joe, you can bash me over the head if I'm wrong) once suggeted that it was better to use several lights with an angle, for example 4 x 90 degree lights rotated to shine out to the four points of the compass.
I might be completely wrong, but maybe it's worth a try on a separate sheet?
