Blender always want's more, no matter how much RAM you have. I have 32GB RAM, and Blender still groans at me. I think it may be more to do with the graphics card than the RAM.

I've not seen this happen before. A quick discussion with Remy, and he came up with the suggestion that you try reinstalling the latest update, and if that doesn't help to send this to Tech Support for advice.

If it can be done that way, all good.

Another thing you might consider is making seamless fills using your clumps of grass. I can show you how to do that if you like. I made all the seamless forest fills for my overland styles that way. First I made the symbols, and then I used them to make a seamless fill in CC3.

As far as I am aware it is free to register with CloudConvert and just carry on as normal - if we're talking about the same source as is mentioned in the 2020 January CA issue. Ralf did a live stream, and ended up running into that barrier right in the middle of the live stream. He just registered and everything was fine.

I am wondering if it would be easier to make a separate copy of the original FCW file, make all line widths zero, then give them a width back in Inkscape.
