Using End Modifier Tool and a bit confused
At the point in the process where you right click (after you have picked Copy from the Edit menu) you should get this pop up
The Window option is 6th in that list. Pick it and then continue with the process. I think the bits you don't understand will become clear to you once you start with the Copy tool in the Edit menu.
If it doesn't, just say.

Inclination not working?
Thanks :)
I was just about to say the same thing, but since Remy has already said it here are some screen shots illustrating those points.
Point 1: 2 shots, starting with the default inclination settings and then showing a really low sun such as shortly before sunset. The shaded side of the rooftops darkens.
Point 2: (Actually shown above at the same time). The Activate lighting panel is completely turned off with no effect in this map where there are no dungeon lights present, or the necessary sheet effects.
Point 3: The shadows on the buildings are "Wall Shadow, Directional" type, and respond to the Azimuth settings correctly if I reverse the angle from 135 to 315.

CC4 Overland Development Thread
Hand painted using a Wacom Intuos and Affinity Designer. It's not the same, but I do also have Rebelle 7. Unfortunately, Rebelle 7 doesn't allow seamless canvases, so the texture tiles would be a problem. Artrage (which I also have) does allow for seamless canvases, but I find the result less realistic than Rebelle.
I will find a workflow.
Virtual hand painting takes about the same time as messing around trying to do it other ways. It's all very much the same once you no longer use traditional materials.

Map will not render as an image file (PNG, JPG, BMP)
Thank you :)
I think they both have at least this one thing in common.
The only entity on the MAP BORDER layer is a single vertical line on the right side of the Ground Floor map.
I had the same export to image problem as you did until I deleted that line. Then I got this. Looks like I don't have the font you used, so it's defaulting to some kind of system font.
These are the export settings I used, if you are interested.
I recommend you delete that one line on the MAP BORDER layer and try one of the rectangular image export types, so you can define the area you want exported by clicking the corners of that area. If you show the snap grid and activate SNAP you will then be able to reliably export the same area again if you wish.
Here is your second map with that line deleted.
