CC4 Overland Development Thread
Hand painted using a Wacom Intuos and Affinity Designer. It's not the same, but I do also have Rebelle 7. Unfortunately, Rebelle 7 doesn't allow seamless canvases, so the texture tiles would be a problem. Artrage (which I also have) does allow for seamless canvases, but I find the result less realistic than Rebelle.
I will find a workflow.
Virtual hand painting takes about the same time as messing around trying to do it other ways. It's all very much the same once you no longer use traditional materials.

Map will not render as an image file (PNG, JPG, BMP)
Thank you :)
I think they both have at least this one thing in common.
The only entity on the MAP BORDER layer is a single vertical line on the right side of the Ground Floor map.
I had the same export to image problem as you did until I deleted that line. Then I got this. Looks like I don't have the font you used, so it's defaulting to some kind of system font.
These are the export settings I used, if you are interested.
I recommend you delete that one line on the MAP BORDER layer and try one of the rectangular image export types, so you can define the area you want exported by clicking the corners of that area. If you show the snap grid and activate SNAP you will then be able to reliably export the same area again if you wish.
Here is your second map with that line deleted.

If there are any Blender enthusiasts here wondering how I did this without having those wretched virtual diagonals you get with a "Wireframe" material node, I learned how to make a true wireframe by watching this video.

Extracting from Fractal Terrains 3 to Campaign Cartographer 3 issues
Ah yes, that will happen if the whole world has been exported. If you had exported it at a lower resolution the detail would be even less when zoomed in that far.
Here is a small group of islands on my FT world
And here is the same group of islands on the CC3 map I exported yesterday (when I exported the entire world at Fine resolution).
This level of detail is fine for the world map, where an excess of detail on every inch of coast would only serve to make the map incredibly slow in CC3, and would be completely unnecessary for the world map in any case, with most of the detail being wasted on our comparitively weak human eyes.
If you want a detailed map of the islands zoom in to the FT map and export again to create a regional map of that area using the same Fine resolution.
This is the result of exporting just those 3 islands from the FT map while I was zoomed in to them.

Looking for Black and White Cities Pack
Make sure you have checked the little box called "Send me the monthly newsletter email with any applicable offers" on your Profile tab, and check that your email address is correct. That way you may be able to get it at some point with an offer.
Black Friday is often also a good time to keep an eye on prices.
