I Lost My Screen Border that Hides Symbols and Land/Terrain Fills
Is it just that you want the screen back?
If so, here it is as far as I can tell where you want it. I've had to assume a few things based on the straight lines at the edges of your map. I have also drawn it a reasonable width, rather than the extreme width that would be required to completely cover the land part that protrudes in the north. You can use the move node tool to adjust the screen polygon on that side if you wish.
I noticed that the sheet order was a little mixed up, which may cause you a few problems as you progress. The SCREEN should really be right down at the bottom of the list or near enough to it, since it is intended to block the view of protruding symbols and fills. But since I don't know what you want to do with this map I have left it to you to move it.

A Quick B&W Village
It's probably more than a basic map. You've considered quite a lot of things a lot more carefully than you would for a sketch map. The plan of the village is realistic, and you've thought about where there might be single trees or avenues of trees instead of just blocking them down and leaving it. You've even considered that the main road might be older than the smaller roads and be more jiggly as a result of time and various deviations to the original course.
If I have any suggestions it would only be that the river banks would probably be less jiggly where it's narrower, since the water will flow faster there and tend to erode in a straighter line - unless there are huge boulders causing those jiggled edges to it's channel.

Sci-fi / ALIEN resources
You can draw your own quite easily in any bitmap app. GIMP and Krita are free. I use Affinity Photo and Designer myself, rather than paying rental for PS.
Importing them and making your own symbol catalogues is really easy. Remy has done a series of videos covering this here:

Difficulty with choosing what terrain type to put where on my map (Overland Mike Schley style)
You're welcome :)
If its a plain, its a plain. Don't be afraid to map it as it is. There are plenty of symbol assets in this style to add points of interest across that vast plain. Spend some time looking through the symbols and picking out things you could add to a plain. Maybe paste them somewhere out of the way in the ocean or outside the map so you don't forget what they were or where they were. It's easy enough just to move them into position later, or to delete them if you change your mind.
Have you downloaded and installed the free monthly content for Mike Schley overland? This style is still growing. If you haven't, you will find the single download file listed under CC3+ on your downloads tab when you log into your account.

Al Shammar - Cities of Schley fortified oasis
That's a beautiful map :)
If you are having issues casting that cliff shadow using a line, where lines tend to cast that intermittent stripy shadow, the alternative is to make the line thicker, or to draw the shape of the shadow as a solid black polygon on a separate sheet, using the existing effect shadow as a guide. Then add a small blur effect, and a Blend Mode set to Multiply or overlay, with a low opacity - around 15% for multiply, but more for overlay.
