  • WIP: Community Atlas Competition, The Lost temple of Ankun-za

    Hi Folks,

Here is my WIP of the 1st level of this temple in the Kaballa Ruins of the Shifting Sands Region. I'm leaving it open for future mappers (myself included). Who knows it may become another mega-dungeon. You can never have enough of those!

This level is based on a Watabou Random Dungeon

Thoughts, comments and critiques welcome as always.

  • Community Atlas - Blackrock WIP

@Monsen As far as I'm aware the Bootcamp assistant does that as part of the set up process, so I think the answer to that is yes.

Also, this is just about finished. I deleted my submission post (I know you're not accepting submissions Remy but this is nearly done) as I noticed there is still the cliff top showing through where it shouldn't on middle cliff level.

  • Community Atlas - Blackrock WIP

    Hi All,

Finally making progress on this map. And I figured out waht the issue was with the cliff lines showing through, my grass cover was too low in the sheet order!

I reckon it's about done, perhaps just add a scale bar.

Is there anyway to edit the Index to remove the grid references or will that stuff up the hyperlink?

  • WIP: Re-working of an old map.

That's very pleasing to hear @DaishoChikara. The first adventure is a bit of a tester to see how it goes, what sales volumes are like, what kind of feedback I receive and so on. The general plan is to sell these adventures at $2.95USD via DTRPG, they will be fully VTT, and in particular ROll20, compatible; the only thing missing will be tokens for monsters I can't create via CA3. The good thing is this adventure will be suitable for novice characters, so all you will need is the adventure and Mythras Imperative, a free, quick-start version of the rules...

  • Big SUR Apple OS Update, Big Headache

    Hi All,

I, like a true lemming, blithely updated my Mac's OS without doing any research first - big mistake. Crossover 19.0.2, the pseudo WINE thingy that lets you run Windows software natively, does not work with the latest update, therefore no CC3+ for me...

So, rather than spend another $40USD to update it, or worse yet $500USD for lifetime support and no cost upgrades, I decided after some research to create a Bootcamp partition and install Windows 10. The reason I did this is because:

    1. You DO NOT need a product key to run Windows (which was news to me...), you can install without the key from a FREE, LEGAL ISO file. So far, it's only been a couple of days, the only drawback is a small watermark in the bottom right corner of the screen telling me to Activate Windows - fat chance.
    2. I figured that because CC3+ exhibited some weird little idiosyncrasies via Crossover; issues with text, function keys and so on, surely it would be far less frustrating and run much better in a proper Windows machine.

After doing all the required things re setting up the Bootcamp, installing Windows 10PRO (why not, it's essentially free) and re-loading all my CC3+ stuff (that takes flaming hours!!!) I am happy to report that the program runs much better. I changed the settings for the function keys so the work properly and I think I will be a much more productive and happier cartographer!

Here is a little map I did as a test...
