I think they call that rebound in some cases where the ejected material rebounds from the walls of the crater as it is formed and ends up stacked back in the middle. Sometimes I think it's where harder rocks underly softer rocks so you get a smaller crater inside a much larger one. I'm only interested in geology, though, and not a geologist, or a geomorphologist, or whatever you have to be to understand that particular type of physics.

If it bothers you I believe you can hide that column if you right click the column header. Tags aren't normally visible. I know that because I've never messed with the column settings so this is the default setup.

The majority of us use a mouse because it's actually easier than using a drawing tablet. I have a perfectly good large Intuos Pro, but I never use it with CC3 because mouse is better.

However, I get what you are saying since there are users who cannot use a mouse, though I am out of my depth regarding any kind of alternatives - not being a coder myself.

I gave in to temptation and warped a copy of the inner crater to the new grid. Looks like I also still have craters on the brain.

Oh well, I might as well carry on...
