Fractal Terrain 3 landmass question
This is only going to work for you if you are only using FT3 to get a decent shape and coastline...
Try visualising the oceans as the land masses.
I have extracted quite a few decent coastline patterns from FT3 by turning the land into the sea, and vice versa. Its not something you can do in the software (I don't think), but once you get your eye in tune with the idea you should find a few more appetizing outlines

Disc golf symbols?
I've had a look at the designs on that page, and from what I can see (I may be a bit blind at this time of the night, however) its basically the yellow basket sign that you may not be able to find among the myriad symbols available here at Profantasy.
Fortunately for you this sign is a very simple 2D drawing of a side view of the basket, and should be fairly easy to recreate with a few curves and polygons done in solid yellow fill. It wouldn't be too hard to make your own just by drawing the first one on a blank map and turning it into a symbol yourself.
Like I say, its a bit late in the night for me right now (in fact its nearly 5 am), so I won't even attempt to give any specific instructions right now, but its all in the Tome of Ultimate Mapping in quite marvellous detail. -
