I found a page that allows you to set the Earth's sea level up or down from the current level. It might be useful for anyone wanting to create post-apocalyptic maps, or even just for new coastline ideas.

You can draw any shape you please, including an arrow, using the primitive tools on the right hand side. Polygon is probably the one you want in this case. Depending on what you want the snap grid would be useful here. And don't forget that you can scale the arrow once you have drawn it.

I would add a new sheet for your arrow first, so you can control the sheet effects for your arrow without disturbing the rest of it.

I'm Sue Daniel, but I've been known as Loopysue here for nearly 5 years, so I'll just leave mine as it is.

I agree on that point. 4 yr old eyes would see the pattern and be distracted by it. Also, you have improved the contrast between the background and the much more important foreground elements. That has made it a lot clearer than before.
