Filling unneded space
It sounds like you may have a line width set that is other than zero. Set the line width to zero and try again.
Don't worry - I forget sometimes and still end up drawing a line around an area instead of a filled polygon.
It looks pretty good for a first map. If you switch on the sheet effects those walls should cast shadows and feel a lot more like walls.

can CC handle Tilesets?
Ah, I see. That's probably why I haven't come across it before. The kind of graphics I make are generally much larger than that, so a full sheet of them all together would be several tens of thousands of pixels in each direction. That wouldn't really be practical for any game or app.
You're right - you will have to cut them out of the main sheet and save them as individual symbols. I would do just one to start with - test it for resolution, colour suitablity, and so on. That way, if it doesn't suit as well as you thought it should you've only spent time doing one instead of all of them.

Mouse stuck snapping.
The visible grid that prints is a separate entity to the snapping grid, which exists only in CC3 and is never printed.
Look at the bottom right of the window. There are 5 buttons there, two of which are Snap and Grid. It's possible that you may have the Snap turned on, but the Grid turned off. The effect would be as you describe - the mouse cursor snapping to an invisible grid.

New Humble Bundle
@Tom B You will have selected issues from those listed annuals, but not the entire annual. The easiest way to find out exactly which issues you have is to go to your Annual folder and check the Issue numbers there.
C:\ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Annual
The drive this folder is on will depend on where you installed the software.
The annuals are numbered from the very beginning, back in 2007. 1-179. The next issue due out at the beginning of December is 180, and the bonus issue this year is 180A
