I meant it the first way - a great base map to start developing the rest of your campaign in a series of larger scale maps :)

I wouldn't think that a waterfall would be visible on a map at this scale. That would really be for one of the larger scale regional maps.

You can get the default palette back again by clicking the colour swatch on the properties bar at the top, and then clicking the "Use Default PAL" button.

Remy Monsen covers palette management in some detail in this blog article here:

Details on how to save and reload palettes are near the end of the article.

@WeathermanSweden Oh wow! That's seriously cool! I didn't know you could tag people like that! I only just found out that Remy has updated the forum already to allow full screen shot pasting direct (see above).

I learn what I need to know about CC3 from this forum and the PF staff. And I learn everything else about other apps by searching for apps that will do specific jobs, then watching YouTube videos ;)

ngPlant (the software I am using to model the trees and speed up the process a bit) is available here: http://ngplant.org/

There is a YouTube video, but I can't seem to locate it right now.

    My goodness!

What a lot of interesting information. And after all that I'm not even sure if I will have time to do any of these extra things, but we shall see.

    A very tidy map :)

Quenten is right about the rivers into the lakes. It's just the one coming out of it and heading for the sea (or the next lake in a string of lakes) that should only be just the one.

I only have one suggestion, and even that is only a matter of personal preference. Please ignore it if you like your maps really tidy, but sometimes forests look a little more natural if they thin out towards the edges. With the effects you have on that sheet, however, creating the thinning out by adding small patches around the larger ones might be a little tricky and could make the map look spotty if you go too far, so it is only a suggestion.
