Curse of the Crimson Crown (Pathfinder Adventure Path)
Yes, I agree actually. I'd originally just made the water shading as subtle as I could, and I'll probably switch back. I can always place a map legend in the corner if it looks too empty.
I've not had much chance to work on this recently, but got back onto it tonight.
There's lots of ropes strung between the woodwork in the hidden area beneath the old fishery, and I wasn't sure if I could make them look good just using lines and paths in CC3, but I had a quick play around and I'm quite please with how they turned out.
I just need to add furniture and junk now, more ropes to tie up the boats and I'll be mostly done.
There is a higher resolution copy in my gallery.

The Misgivings (Rise of the Runelords spoilers!)
Unfortunately, as the layout of this map is Paizo's IP, I'm only allowed to post my version of The Misgivings it I state that it's from Rise of the Runelords. So even with purely Profantasy symbols, it couldn't be added to the Atlas.
However I am enjoying working on these maps again now, and I've got an idea or two for a similar set of maps that would be all my own work and could go in the Atlas. ?
Here is the unfurnished basement. The layout is complete, apart from two windows which need adding to the room facing out of the cliff.
I changed the main rock texture from what I'd originally used, and also added most of the details of the "pit" room in the centre, that leads deeper underground. Other than that, it's unaltered since 2014.
The Misgivings - Basement (WIP):
I'll hopefully have it finished in another day or two.

I'll let you know how I get on. I've also got d20Pro, although I've only used it during face-to-face games to get the player map on a TV screen. I've also used Maptool in the past the same way.
I've not even started testing Foundry yet, I'm hoping to set up using an Amazon server. The plan is for me to get my stuff set up over the next couple of weeks, and then have a character generation and VTT test session. That will hopefully be two weeks today.
We've played online before using Roll20, but we weren't fans. d20Pro is my fall-back VTT if Foundry doesn't work out for us. A lot of FoundryVTT users had the same dislikes about Roll20 as we did, so we're hopeful tht it's the right one for our group.
One thing we did like about Roll20 was the webcam integration in the same window, which we can also get using Foundry. It also appears to have excellent support for Pathfinder 2nd Edition already. I was a bit worried about that, as the player demo just shows what a good job it does for D&D 5E.
There is a DM demo as well by the way Jim. I'll see if I can find a link to it, as I only found out myself via Discord.

Jim Abbott aka Damon Jynx or Rikki Grosevale
Ha ha, I have to admit (indeed I nearly mentioned this in my previous post), I started reading The Blade Itself two or three times before actually getting into it. I've read the First Law Trilogy twice now, so that first chapter with Logan Ninefingers alone in the woods, I've read at least four times. I'm not sure exactly how far I had to read before the first book clicked for me, but I really love the setting now. West was my favourite character, and he doesn't appear much in the early chapters.
Weirdly, as a lot of the minor characters from the First Law Trilogy reappear in more important roles in his three stand-alone sequels (often with nice foreshadowing here), the trilogy was actually better on the second read through (and I did love it the first time, once I'd got going).
