  • New city map (John Roberts)

    So I decided to do something new with the John Roberts style. This is going to be a mining town run by a Baron who doubles as a serious thieves guild member with investments all over my campaign world.

  • Cyberpunk Alley Fight Battlemap

    This is exactly what it says. Combat has spilled into an alley late at night and the war is on! This is a WIP as I am going to bring in a few cosmographer elements into this as well to give it more of a cyberpunk feel but the lighting goes a long way to do that I think.

  • Darklands City attempt

    I am building a big city using Darklands cities. This is 3 separate maps placed together on a third using the insert file feature under draw on the toolbar. Obviously it is a work in progress but its coming along pretty well.

  • Darklands City attempt

    So this is my first attempt with Darklands City. I really like the terrain tiles for this map. I could see using them in other map styles. This is the Northeast version of a city I have been working on and off now for quite a while. I'm not sure I fully get the hang of how cliffs work but I think it looks ok.

  • Tharo resized

    In the never ending quest of mapping my campaign world here is a version of Tharo I did with the Jonathan Roberts style. It is a work in progress but this is the second time I have done a big city with this style. I have also attached flavor text with the pdf that comes from a supplement I bought from another company if you want to check that out. I did this map as a simple 1000x800 style map and adjusted manually with the scale. This tinkering with the map made for an easier export.


    I pretty much know what the districts of the city are going to be but I have not marked them yet as I am still working on the fiction.

  • Seven Kingdoms map updated

    Ok, here is yet another version of the world map for what I originally called the Nineteen Kingdoms. I decided that trying to develop complete histories for all nineteen would be pretty daunting so I narrowed it down to seven. I am actually going to explain in my history how that narrowing happened. What I am looking for here are opinions on how the forests look mixed in with the hills. There is a huge mountain range about nineteen miles east of the eastern end of the map and those hills are the beginnings of it. I believe I have incorporated all the other ideas in previous maps. I have also added some things like islands to expand the possibility of adding cultures like pirates and such. Another big change is that I did not change the scale of the symbols in this map. All symbols are set to the scale that was designed into the style when it was originally developed. I hope you like the revisions.

  • A chapterhouse keep that I made

    This is just a very simple isometric keep I made within a SS6 symbols map I am working on. It turned out ok I think. My angles may be a bit off but I think it looks decent. Just sharing for fun.

  • Ambush Cave

    This is a little ambush battlemap I am using to do some encounter testing for various systems. The crates on the elevated area to the east provide hiding places to ambush from a prone position with crossbows or magic against characters coming in from the north or south entrances to the cavern. Also there are two little nooks on the west side of the map both north and south where assailants can lie in wait. I might even use the pool of water in the middle as ambush cover for an underwater ambush.

    The arrows indicate slopes that characters can charge up to engage the elevated ambushers. I put the arrows on the Gamemaster only layer so I can remove them easily when I need to.
