New city map (John Roberts)

So I decided to do something new with the John Roberts style. This is going to be a mining town run by a Baron who doubles as a serious thieves guild member with investments all over my campaign world.

Just out of curiosity which way is the river flowing? (You can indicate this by showing some sewage downstream.  )

Gotta ask - where's the mine? Where's the spoil from the mine?

@Wyvern: The mine isn't in the drawing. It is located in the mountain pass to the south. Its just out of the shot and underground. You actually have to go up a short hill to get to the entrance. I'm not that concerned about the mine yet. I will be but not yet.

@DaltonSpence This river is technically flowing east to west. I'm not really into that kind of thing though, at least not anymore, indicating the flow of the river and that I mean. The only things I am concerned with now are the things that relate directly to my story. Thanks though for the thoughts. I appreciate you taking the time.

If crossing the river subtly is part of your story launching your boat upstream of your destination on the other side could be important. Marking the route of a regular ferry might also be useful.
