I'll let you know how I get on. I've also got d20Pro, although I've only used it during face-to-face games to get the player map on a TV screen. I've also used Maptool in the past the same way.

I've not even started testing Foundry yet, I'm hoping to set up using an Amazon server. The plan is for me to get my stuff set up over the next couple of weeks, and then have a character generation and VTT test session. That will hopefully be two weeks today.

We've played online before using Roll20, but we weren't fans. d20Pro is my fall-back VTT if Foundry doesn't work out for us. A lot of FoundryVTT users had the same dislikes about Roll20 as we did, so we're hopeful tht it's the right one for our group.

One thing we did like about Roll20 was the webcam integration in the same window, which we can also get using Foundry. It also appears to have excellent support for Pathfinder 2nd Edition already. I was a bit worried about that, as the player demo just shows what a good job it does for D&D 5E.

There is a DM demo as well by the way Jim. I'll see if I can find a link to it, as I only found out myself via Discord.

  • World Builder's Compendium Missing Example Maps

While Ralf sorts you out @dvp236, the article - or perhaps an earlier version of it - is also available on the Profantasy Blog here, the Blog post includes links to all the example map files.

  • WIP - Rise of the Runelords: Catacombs of Wrath.

Still plodding along, I got some more detail added last night and this afternoon.

I remember saying I said that I'd be getting these first maps for Rise of the Runelords done quickly, and not fuss over little details, and here I am going all OCD about everything.

I've drawn the pool in the middle too big, should only be around a third of the room diameter, so I'll redo it later so there's room to walk around it.

I'll probably move the large pool in the temple room slightly as well, to make room for another couple of pillars.

And I've still not drawn in the missing room!

Should hopefully be finished in a couple more updates, probably depending on how happy I am when I add details to the caves.

Although it's taking a while, I'm happy that I've found a style for other dungeons in the campaign. So should be able to get future dungeons drawn a bit faster in the same style.

I've not had much time today, but I've added some neighbouring buildings.

  • The Misgivings (Rise of the Runelords spoilers!)

    Thank you @seycyrus. ?

I'll see what I can do once I've got the FCW files useable again. Quite a few of the objects aren't CC3 objects though, so I might need to provide FCWs with some items removed - otherwise you'd get loads of those red crosses like I'm getting now.

Where I can, I'll replace non-Profantasy assets with Profantasy ones to fix the red-crosses, as there are more objects in this style available now. In some cases though - like the wrecked bedroom - I've got better objects available now, so I'll be using those third-party objects.

The manticore is a stuffed hunting trophy, it's a nice surprise for snooping adventurers who break in through the front door. ?

It's also affected by the haunting, so it surprises them again the next time they pass through that room.

Going really well! A little sugestion to make the map even better: work on the water. It takes much of the screen and deserves more attention. On these maps you can even play with doing waves, curls, etc...

Thanks, I'll see what I can do once the rest of the map is complete enough to use in-game. For the moment, I've increased the opacity of the multiply effect, so that Jonathon Roberts' texture is a little more prominent.

This is a mostly complete, unfurnished export of the villain's hideout below the main level. There's some weird geometry, that used to cause confusion, but was clarified in the anniversary edition of Curse of the Crimson Throne. There is only a three foot clearance above the area between the rotting ship and the hideout itself and the "walkway" floats on the river. The door into the hideout is only a 2.5 foot square hatch.

  • Project Spectrum - Part 2

Yes, I'm with Remy here - I might give the impression that I'm artistic, but my maps are just from throwing down nice art assets that others have made, plus a passable understanding of CC3's functions and a little patience.
I'm an engineer and I think my mind works in a way that much more easily understands Ralf and Remy's magic than your magic.  :)
