WIP Commission, Ancient Tombs
@jmabbott Ralf had a few similar problems during his live mapping with that Annual, as quite a few tools place things on the Map Border layer. It was the reason that the mask tool was misbehaving for him if I remember correctly. -
Lakes of Michigami - Regional Maps
Apologies for not replying earlier @GThiel, I've been very busy with work for the last couple of weeks.
I'll take a look at the Facebook group later today, and I'll definitely take on one of the Dwarf mines, if nobody beats me to both of them.
As either would be quite large scale for a detailed dungeon map, I'll likely make an overview map of the whole mine with noteable locations highlighted, and then several several detailed close-up areas mapped as dungeons: for example where the breach into the Underdark occurred in the Salt Mines and the fortified entranceway.
I'll also make a local region map outside the mine and a village type map for a surface trading outpost where the Dwarves trade with the surface folk.
If both are still available, then I'll pick the salt mine first.

WIP: First BattleMap: Ice Caves
I think that your map looks great @Calibre, but I do think that I know what you mean, I'm also never quite sure how to handle different materials for cave interiors / exteriors.
I'd recommend having a look at how Christina (@Lorelei) did her Vault of the Blue Wizard map in this blog post: All the Annuals: Curse of the Lich King (March 2018) (profantasy.com) - specifically the Platform Trap area in the top left corner.
You could perhaps draw the "cutaway hill" part of your map using a rock fill, and then use varicolour mountain symbols for the ice walls, like that room in Chirstina's map. It depends on which symbols you've got access to though, whether there are mountains suitable to misuse in such a way.

[WIP] Community Atlas Competition entry: Thing beneath the Iron Mounds
That's a great start @Lillhans. I totally agree about Jonathon's textures, they're great for adding subtle randomness or just to fill a large area without glaring repetition. I really used to enjoy reading his tutorials on the CG and his blog. -
Regional and Battle Jungle Maps
These maps a are beautiful @Arcwynd, I just had to pop by for a closer look after seeing one of your maps in Ralf's maps of the month tweet.
I think I'm going to need to produce some jungle temple type maps myself soon for a game in The Isle of Dread, so I'll be borrowing some ideas from you.

Marine Dungeon - a Cartographer's Annual development thread
I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with this Sue, as you know I'm a big fan of watery dungeons and battlemaps.
p.s. Sorry I've not been around, trying to get back into RPGs and mapping again at the moment, I kind of lost my motivation during the last lockdown. Not even sure why, but I'm planning to get mapping again ASAP.
