Remy, the links for the last 3 on Jerry's list above just lead to the World map, and there is no hotspot on Khelaphet for those maps. There is on the FCW, but not on the browsable images. Just letting you know so you can fix it with the next update.
I have come to the conclusion that Jerry is actually a full time pro cartographer, and has been for the last couple of decades. You know - the people who can turn out a map just by blinking at the screen... a bit like Lorelei :P
Thank you for all the compliments. Being retired I've the time to play that all you whipper-snappers don't :-)
I've been mapping, first with pencil and grid paper, colored pencils and hex paper, and later Dundjinni for the last 40 years. I tried CC1 many years ago, but couldn't get a handle on how it worked. I picked up CC3+ last November and found that this time around, tho with many mistakes and horrible things, it made more sense.
All of the good maps posted as part of the Atlas has given me the courage to actually try and post some of mine here, and I guess I've gotten carried away.
I've another building almost finished for Quenten's city of Stromphe on Artemisia, just got to recheck everything to make sure that I am "happy" with it
For practical purposes, I am making a minor change to the reservation rules. Going forward, I will now delete any reservation more than one year old. I'll be happy to extend any reservation beyond this, all the mapper need to do is to tell me he/she heeds more time, but I need a time limit for management purposes. It is not always easy to get hold of people to ask them if they still need that old reservation, so this makes it easier for me to remove stale reservations. One year should normally be way more than enough to complete most maps, so most mappers should never encounter this at all. And again, if anyone do find themselves with the need for more time beyond this, simply tell me. This isn't about rushing the mapper or pose a time limit on the mapping, it is merely a tool for me to be able to more easily clean up old reservations that will probably never be completed anyway.
This seems perfectly sensible Monsen. Perhaps it would be worth noting here any such expirations, should this mechanism be needed, in case it might tempt someone else to take over that area?

I won't be doing that, simply because that adds yet another thing to my workload. It is extremely simple for me to semi-automatically remove the reservations from the map tree, while constructing a post identifying such an area would actually be at the very least 10 times as much work, and all these small things do add up. Combined with the fact that with all the available space in the atlas, I assume this will be an extremely rare event in any case, so this information will be mostly wasted.
If anyone is after a particular area that is reserved and they see it continues to lie undeveloped for a long time, I suggest you contact the person directly, their name is below the work in progress image you see when you click in on a reservation.
I'm going to look over the areas I have already mapped on the Forlorn Archipelago, large areas, and look at putting a town in there.
Somewhere in this area: ( Its the Dead Forest near the Lonely Lighthouse. On Basher Bay) I'll be mapping some of the abandoned towns and maybe the keeps.
Pretty heavy rain in my area, seems to have taken out my ISP. I have communication with one of their DNS servers, but no connection to the rest of the internet, so problem seems to be in their network, and not my connection. Anyway, that means that the atlas will be down until they fix stuff. Probably won't take too long, but if the rain flooded/destroyed things, it might not be a simple repair. Going to bed now, hopefully things are back when I wake up tomorrow, if not you know why.
Well, they seem to have fixed things during the night, everything seems fine now. I really like my ISP, they're really stable and reliable, outages are really rare, and they deliver the actual bandwidth I pay for, all the time.
Remy, can you reserve for me Hezia Fort in the lower Right hand corner on the Themisia map in Artemisia? I will also be doing the Temple of Poseidon in the Stromphe Dockside map, and also the Agora district on the Stromphe map, as well as more areas on the Dunor Valley map. (probably best if you reserve this whole map for me, as I envisage completing it with the Local area maps).

And to keep this on track, I'm thinking about which next Atlas map I'll be working on.

The list also shows reservations, so you can easily see if you have a reservation you forgot about.
The list should also be helpful in spotting mistakes in my map registrations (caught a few myself when I made this).
You can find this list here, and it is also linked from the main mappers page in the atlas.

I guess 250 maps is a very nice milestone too, a quarter of the way to 1000.

Guess Poseidon is a popular fella over in Artemisa, that will be his second temple there.
