  • WIP Commission, Ancient Tombs

    Hi Folks,

Here is a WIP pic of the 1st Level of this pyramid dungeon.

I'm glad the manager for this product line sent me the text as well as the author sketches. Because the 2 do not agree in several places. But anyhow...we do what we can...

Got to add the doors, some other furnishings and some interest to the floors. This is just the basic layout thus far. Where the semi-circular alcoves are I made 2 circles (inner & outer walls) with the circle tool , modified the default wall tool to be a polygon rather than rectangle and traced the circles. Then I just made 1 circle with the floor bitmap of appropriate size , placed and copied it. You can tell if you have a really good look. This will therefore be an area that gets some pretty floor patterns...?

  • October Community Challenge - City Streets - VOTING POLL in first post

Hmm, so hard to decide. I'd like to vote for all of them, they're all without question great maps but that would be pointless...

  • Commission WIP

Finally finished. Once I've been given the OK to invoice, I'll post the final versions in my Gallery, Commissions album.

This publisher is great to deal with...sent the invoice this morning, about an hour and a half ago and they've paid it already. Bloody brilliant!

  • Grimdark Fantasy (renamed "Darklands") - development thread

All good Sue, one can never have too many options.

Thanks for the comment on the city map! Glad you like it. I think it's the best map I did in Ps, it literally took me days; each building was hand drawn with the path tool in Ps (each demographic was on its own layer thankfully, had to make life easier for myself somehow!). If only I'd had CC3+ with CD3 and DD3 then, it would have been done in less than 1/2 the time!
