  • Symbol Index?

  • Adding new map packs

    Hi @Tim Wecks ,

Ralf did a video a bit over a year ago, where he explains how to create your own symbols. The video starts explaining how to create vector symbols and around the 42:05 mark, he explains how to do it with PNGs.

    This is the video:

  • No toolbars

    Hi,

Yes! Everything seems to be running smoothly now.

I decided not to install FT3+ (yet) because it's been waiting for me to stop discovering CC3+ and DD3 first. ;)

Thanks for the help, and for keeping an eye on this thread.

  • New Humble Bundle

@JulianDracos , I've been wondering this myself, so I went and tried to figure it out the hard way. If someone could double check this, I'd appreciate it.

    As far as I can tell, HCC1 contains: CA01, CA02, CA09, CA24, CA29, CA32, CA34, CA42, CA44, CA53, CA57, CA58, CA65, CA66, CA87, CA92, CA98, CA105, CA109, CA111, CA112, CA122, CA127, CA131, CA135, CA151, CA158, and CA162.

    And apparently HCC2 contains: CA52, CA60, CA62, CA67, CA70, CA73, CA78, CA84, CA85, CA93, CA101, CA102, CA103, CA106, CA106, CA107, CA119, CA124, CA132, CA141, CA143, CA147, CA150, CA151, CA159, CA163, CA165, CA167, and CA168B.

  • Looking for Dungeondraft-like assets

Its very interesting how you achieved the pebble effect, especially the underwater ones and I love it.

That one in particular, is just the way Ross@2mtt created those assets. But CC3+ does offer filters, like transparency and blending modes, to achieve different effects.

I'm sure Remy did a video where he drew a cave with a pool and stuff underwater, but I can't find the video.

It makes me think that CC3 provides the logical tools of sorts that you can use combine and use how you want

Yes, CC3+ has a huge potential because the tools are very flexible and powerful.

How would you mirror the gravel brush effect as seen in the video?

I'm... not sure... remember, I just started with CC3+ a couple of months ago. ;)

Actually, I'm not sure I'd choose to use gravel for a river bank. For example, I just added a "duff" texture and enabled blur for both the shoreline and the water to the quick test from above:

From what you have told me so far a seemless gravel texture (couldn't find one in 2minutetabletop) would do the trick?

    It might.

And if not, I'd still find a way to use it somewhere else (even if not for a river's bank).

  • Where can I find palm trees and beach items?

I did a quick search on my assets, and apparently Annual Spectrum Overland has top-down palm trees.

On my machine, it's found in:

    "C:\ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\Maps\Annual Spectrum Overland\Vegetation\Tree palmtop 10_VH.PNG"

But, since they're meant for overland, I don't know if they're big enough for your dungeon.

  • [WIP] August Competition - The Southern Gatehouse

Hm... now I'm thinking that on the ground floor is not so clear that it's an inaccessible area..

... maybe if I keep the crosshatch?

Then again, all floors are shown in the same image, so... I have to mull it over.

Yup. It does look better, thanks! I went for white 30 in the end:

... and here's the second floor, for your enjoyment:

  • Linux options

For all those of you (all three of you ;) using Linux, I just wanted to report that I installed CC3+ on Fedora 36 with Wine 7.12.

No extra steps, no tweaks, no hassles.

I installed cups-pdf to see if printing was working (had to restart CC3+ for the printer to show). It seems to hang for a bit, but finishes in about a minute.

I didn't test font compatibility, but I assume orbatos' answer above still holds.

I've posted a test report to winehq (still under review as I type this).

  • Cyberpunk Apartment Building

the sidewalks around the building seem a little wide; they shouldn't be more than 5' along a regular street or 10' along a major thoroughfare

Unless... you fill them with vending machines, stalls (fast food?), subway entrance stairs, and stuff like that. Right?
