    Ok folks. Here is the final version of The Rocks, 1923. Feel free to use for your home games if you ever get to Cthulhu Down Under!

    Thanks to you all for your comments and suggestions, particualrly @Ralf: that tip re Circular Quay looks heaps better. I changed the colour of the glow on the text as well, it's hard to notice at this resolution but it does make a difference.

    Howdy Pardners!

    Here be a map I be fixin' for a Pulp Cthulhu, Down Darker trails one-shot I be runnin' on Saturday evening on that new fangled virtual tabletop thingy, Roll20...It ain't too bad but I'm sure there's stuff that needs a fixin'.

    The adventure is set in New Mexico around 1871.

  • WIP: New Dungeon Commission

    Hiya Folks,

    Finally getting back to finishing this commission. Delayed for various, personal reasons. Anyhow, here is where I'm at with maps 3 & 4.

    On map 2 above and map 3 below, I'll be replacing the pit trap symbols as I've done for map 4. The darker symbols are actual pit traps (if the OG are consistent) and the lighter are other traps; swinging spiked balls, scythes etc.On map 4 there are 'legible' descriptions of the various traps - I'll be providing the client the 'key'. There are Floor, Ceiling and general Traps. Without further ado...

  • WIP: New Dungeon Commission

    Last update before I finish this bad boy, I'm on the home stretch...

    Sorted my Gold and Silver leaf fills, downloaded the textures from Sketchup and did some fine tuning in Affinity Photo before adding them to the Bitmap folder and importing them.

    Added a'glow' to the gem, might play around with the blur and transperency settings for that, I think it needs to be a bit 'softer'.

    The second image includes the hand drawn sketch I'm working from...

  • WIP: Community Atlas Competition, The Lost temple of Ankun-za

    Hi Folks,

    Here is a bit of an update. Added the wall mask, fixed up those weird walls and the typo so graciously pointed out by @Wyvern. Added room labels and a couple of pits. Now to figure out the contents of each room bearing in mind the fire/ice theme, this one is obviously going to feature fire for the same reasons as @Quenten. Though with the weather over here at the moment you wouldn't believe we he had such a disastrous fire season last year. We picked up our eldest Grandson after visiting my sister's and copped a wicked storm on the way home. Unfortunately I'd left our party gazebo up (which was pegged down but not guyed down) after having Christmas Day at our place yesterday and it got uplifted and is now ruined...

    Here's another update. The highly dense, poor residential areas are basically done. I may make a few tweaks here and there later. This image is at 100ppi, it looks way better at 300ppi! But the file is too big to post.

    Now to build the rest of the city...
