How long have you been using Campaign Cartographer?

Commercial use of maps
Ok. So as far as selling maps goes; you can sell maps you make in CC3+ no problem, you can't re-distribute Profantasy's artwork, for example make a page of symbols or fill styles and sell those, that is a violation of the EULA, but a proper map is fine.
If you're going to 're-interpret' a map (copy it in a different style) from whatever source and sell them without permission from the copyright holder you open yourself to legal action. If you do a completely new version that is not based on the original, you might be OK but seek legal advice just to be safe. I personally wouldn't because it is simply not worth the hassle.
Dsitributing them for free as 'fan art' and with proper attribution, will not likely land you in hot water but that depends entirely on the copyright holder.
One thing you can do, is send the publisher/copyright holder a letter or email and ask for permission to sell them directly or offer them for 'free' via Patreon or similar. The worst they can say is no...
As others have said if you intend to make money from Cartography, either work on commission or create original pieces. It's the only way to 100% avoid legal issues.

Commission WIP
Here is the update. I think this is just about done. I'm not 100% sold on the water lines...I'm thinking I may need to do them in Krita unless anyone can give me an idea of how to do them in CC3+.
As always comment & critique welcome. Now on to map 2, another for which I'll need to do a ton of manual drawing...
Hmm, that looks a lot better in CC3+...

WIP: New Dungeon Commission
Hi Y'all,
Here is another update. Due to my CC3+ installation being on my work PC, I'm connecting via my home Mac running MS Remote Desktop and tonight, the lag for some reason is just not conducive to being productive...
Anyhow, fixed a couple of things which requires other bits to be re-done but overall I'm happy with the progress so far.

Suggestions for a Map and Vintyri
Thanks for the reply @Lorelei.
I knew I'd be pushing you-know-what uphill regarding free symbols and fully expected that I would either a) have to draw the traps and other such symbols myself or b) commission someone to draw them for me. It was more of a forlorn hope really, a bit like winning the lottery, as I'm not that artistic. I'll have a crack at making them myself and if I'm not happy with the result, post a request on Fiver...
My little project is something of a trial and for Mythras, an off-shoot of Runequest, so sales volume is not going to be anywhere near what it would be for say D&D or Pathfinder, hence why I'm happy to spend my time but not my $$$... Depending on sales and feedback from this first one, things may change.
Re the Zoo map, I was always going to use DD3 due to scale, essentially it's just a big battle map but was after suggestions for the style to start with. Here is the map of the actual zoo. As it's for a 4 year old I want to it to be relatively simple and similar to this... I may even download photos of the animals and make them into 'tokens'...
