Need some help fixing an old map
Hello! I've converted many, many maps from CC2 to CC3 over the years. It can be tricky at times. Here's how to fix this one....
- Open Symbols>Symbol Manager
- Scroll down and click to select the Room Circle 1' symbol.
- Click on edit then draw a bounding box across your screen. This opens the symbol in the editor.
- Now Select Send to Back on the right hand button bar.
- Right click within the editor window and select layer
- Choose the walls layer, click OK, then Do it.
- Close the editing window via the x to close and say yes to save.
You should be good to go. Give a shout here if you don't understand something.

[WIP] May Symbol Challenge - Shipwreck and Debris
I only had the bare minimum of art software loaded on my system so getting all of my ancient software loaded and functioning on Win10 was my first step. That's done.
Next up is creating the seamless textures as well as some bits and pieces that I might need. This involves trips around my local parks and green spaces to take pictures of old and rotting wood. This is where I'm at currently. I'll have to add more textures as I need them. I'm not sure yet what all I'll need and want. Here's what I have so far.

[WIP] August Competition - Pappy's Pub
Thanks for your kind words AleD!
I'm mostly done with the first floor though I may tweak things here and there before I'm finished. I also need to define the scale somehow with out it looking more 'mappy' than I want. To be figured...
Again, the Pub roof is simply a Sheet that can be hidden or not.
Next up is the basement level.

Dungeon Level Symbols
@Maidhc O Casain I can hear him purring right through the picture. 😻
@Monsen I don't think I'm up for an animal annual, at least not until far into the future.
@Quenten I will include more single beds.
The problem with dogs is that there are too many breeds plus the crossbreeds. If you have a breed that you would like to see, I'll do my best with it. If I get no suggestions, or just can't get it right, this is what will be included in this set of symbols. I might try an Irish Wolf Hound, but other than that, what you see is what you get.
The more that I work on these symbols, the more I realize that sometime next year is the most realistic timeline.

How long have you been using Campaign Cartographer?
I started with Campaign Mapper from the Core Rules 2 software but when I could not get it to print because of old drivers I got CC2-v5. I think this was sometime in the late 90's. The software is a windows 95 version so dates are uncertain.
I've been away for a few years and am just trying to get back into gaming and mapping.

[WIP] August Competition - Pappy's Pub
Next round of updates.
After looking at the original map again and noting where the chimneys and street are, I've decided to move things around a bit. I liked @DaltonSpence idea of moving the kitchen door to the side wall and had to move the chimney's to the side more. The chimney location looks wrong to me now but fits with the city roof so...blah!
The Pub roof is on its own sheet so can be shown or hidden at will.
Still lots to do...

I guess this part of this imaginary world doesn't use hedgerows. 😊
I have a 50 foot wide swath of heavy brush and trees that is on a 40 to 50 degree grade behind my house. This is where the raccoons, groundhogs, rabbits, chipmunks, deer, turkeys and wild mice and rats live. It certainly doesn't stop them. Curse all vegetable eating varmints!
