So I wasn't entirely happy with the first iteration so had another go, this time with the SS2 Dungeon A style.

Big thanks to Lorelei whose Temple of the Horned God Ruins inspired me (and helped me reverse engieneer some effects)

And of course Remy for the advice to move to a less Umber Hulk infested area :)

Thanks for the kind words. The exterior walls are 15 feet thick, maybe a little excessive 😁

It's been a great learning experience, I know what I'm going to try and do differently next time (relocation out of the Umber Hulk Wildlife Safari Park being one thing 😉)

    Hi Guys,

Well after a few starts and much learning I have managed to make a floorplan with which I am realtivly happy with (SS4 Schley style). It is the underground portion of a ruined outpost with a cave section attached. The stone the walls could be improved, but I'm not entirly sure how. I also still have a lot to learn with sheet effects. On now to start on the above ground section!

    Hi Guys,

Thought I would post in here saying hi. I'm a long time RPGer. Started mapping with graph paper and pencils in the late 80's (Rolemaster for the win 😁) and then tried CC2 in early 2000's but never really spent the time to properly understand it. Had a break from gaming but thanks to virtual tabletops am very much getting back into it. I have seen some amazing maps made with CC3 and am inspired to make my own. I have to say that I am finding Remy's Tome along with Ralfs live mapping videos a great resource. After just over a week I already feel like I am coming along in leaps and bounds, along with some help from the exceptionally helpful folk on the forum. I look forward to sharing my maps with the community and continuing to learn.

    Cheers,

    James

Thank you Sue, as I suspected it was actually very simple to do 😁
