I discovered that humanoid bodies covered in blood are not particularly intersting to my party. The party "cleansed" the fort of a demonic presence and avoided "most" of the traps. There's a mimic inside the organge coach but they never bothered to check it.

@Royal Scribe The cliffs are just boulders and rocks from the awesome Forest Trail (2022) annual enlarged quite a bit and stacked in two layers. I was mimicking a cliff style that I see in maps that pop up on my Pintrest and Facebook feeds.

One day, the snake skin road will actually be a snake.... but not today. 😁

It's good to be back creating for a DnD campaign. A number of new maps to share as the party finishes exploring the unknown. Messengers are easy prey for the denizens of this wilderness, and they love to play with their food.

Has ben questing to discover the final resting place of a powerful relic, a greatsword named The Darkness. This is my first map with the Ancient Tombs Style from the 2019 Annual. The Fire pits are a fill from SS2 Bit Map A, the armour and the teleport portal (purple thingy) are from Mike Schley.

The party was "shocked" to discover the guardians here were Fire Elementals... not. The hieroglyph border tells the tale of why the greatsword is here and the dangers of removing it from it's resting place. Not hard to guess what the party chose to do :-).
