In my mind I had this small story, where the Neighborhood Watch was founded as a reaction to the church of secrets. They have no idea, that they aber right beside the Thieves Guild. Depending on which thief is asked, this either means the thieves are exceptionally good, or the watch is exceprionally bad. In thurth it most likely means the thieves guild is very good in determining which leader of the watch needs to be bribed the most. I have been listening to some Terry Pratchet books though...

Made some tiny adjustments and modified the church and the guild to look more unique. I think it is done.

Wonderful Idea, I love styles that fit well with other styles.

Most of what I would love to see is has already been mentioned (Marekt Stalls for the win!)

What I would like to see:

smaller Walls/Fences (maybe more of a drawingtool thing, that a symbol)

some vegetation other than trees

dead vegetation.

I finally found some time!

OK, so I still have to play around with effects and position some im between polys to beat back the acne, but it is slowly coming together.

There will be a wall mask onthe walls too.

This competition was a lot of fun. Both in mapping myself and in looking at the maps of thee others.

I don't know if this was already suggested, but you can set the edge stripping effect so be present on the inside of polygon. You could add the same edge stripping that is on the land sheet (or an adjusted version) to the lake sheet, just on the inside, rather than the outside as with lands.

You could maybe give the sun symbols glow effects in their respective colors. In the show, they worked with the scolors of the suns to show the difference between Planets in various systems.

Oh yes, quite a lot of very good maps and very hard to chose just three of them.

I'm an "It depends" person. I don't need a beautiful map to gm. Ad hoc lines with a pencil on a sheet of paper or even no map at all, just using descriptions work perfectly well.

But having maps, espescially good looking ones is nice. Even if I dont use them as Battlemaps for miniatures oder tokens, they still enhance the description of a locale by somethin visible, making it easier to envision, where exactly the enemy may be, or just how big a building, or monster are.

It may be important to know, that pen&paper in person for me does not mean sitting at a table, but evenryone lounging on a couch or armchair with maybe a small table or a computer screen/TV to show things to the players.
