Ship's Wheels: 3 variations

Finished laying out the areas on the west side of the stream but will add shading, walkways and paths as finishing touches. I prefer not to add too much detail until I'm sure of my layout. I've just started on the eastern side.

I would like to do the interiors of the Staggering Moose Inn and Tavern from this map in Stormwatch located in the Emerald Crown Forrest on Alarius. I will start with Number 1 and do the others as time allows.

Drawing animals isn't my strong suite so I went with straight AI generation to see what it would give me. Here's a cat compass for all of the cat lovers. LOL

I just drew the moose in CC3 using the 40% black transparency, then added a bevel to it. You can grab it from the snowy map and just copy/paste it where ever needed. :)

Bringing this back from the depths of the forum. 5 1/2 years? Hmmm, that's the age of my oldest grandkid. I have no other excuse for these years of lost time. 😁

Time to finish another half done map. Here is the current state of things.

Sounds like there is interest in expanding this into something that would be suitable for an annual. I think if I did that I would want to make them more compatible to current mapping styles. Maybe make them a bit more hand drawn looking while still keeping the same level of detail. Scale bars are needed, and I like Remy's idea of legend boxes too.

I'll experiment and come back to see what you think.

These simple challenges are great. When there is nothing grand at stake, it is mapping/creating for the sheer joy of it.

I'm feeling pretty happy with how the main floor is going so far. I've decided to add a basement to it. Still have to think about the exterior.

The only art still available for download is the Heraldric Clipart. All art is released under the Free Art License 1.3 unless specified otherwise.

Once unzipped, the Heraldric Clipart Folder and .fsc file must be placed in ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\User\Shessar. You will need to create the Shessar folder if you haven't already.
