Not certain of who the artist is on this one but I have borrowed the images for personal gaming use several times. I would love to have similar fills and symbols to be able to create something similar myself.

Yes, perhaps the problem is that I quite often base my maps on my local area. For example, this is a google view of my best friend's farm. Not much separating the fields really. They are based more on the flat vs. hilly terrain. I'll play with the idea of hedgerows again, but I'm not certain. :)

Stair police. Okay that made me laugh. I remember the river police days. We were all geology experts!

My problem is that I go for visual appeal a bit more than reality. I mean, I got policed on stairs that were reasonable, but not a word on my 3 foot thick walls. LOL

I will probably finish this project for my own satisfaction, but skip sharing and just hand it off to Remy when I'm done.

Open the sheets and effects dialog (S: on the status bar at the top.)

Scroll down to the Map Border Sheets and click the right check box to hide (H) these sheets.

I didn't think that I would have time to work on a map for Lorelei's competition but have managed to get a bit done on it. Here it is so far...

Other than the rivers issue which has already been pointed out, this is a wonderful map! If this what you produce when you are 'new to mapping', I look forward to seeing what you create in the future. I have a feeling I'll be blown away.
