    It's about $4 an issue ;)
  • Actually, at $39.95 for a year, 12 issues, it's about $3.33 each. So quite reasonable, really.
  • Also worth saying that if you're currently a subscriber, you are usually offered a discount on next year's resubscription towards the end of the current year's, which reduces the cost still further. If you were thinking of the price to buy the complete back-issue collection, while that may seem expensive as a one-off purchase, it is heavily discounted from the original price, and you are getting a LOT of material for that price.

Where cash may be an issue - as for many of us - if you sign-up for the free ProFantasy e-Newsletters, there are often additional short-term discount vouchers for purchases in those, plus there are occasional webstore sales. PF have run significant discounts as a Black Friday promotion in recent years, for example. I know that's how I picked-up my full collection of Annuals a few years back!
  • Even if you cannot use a particular issue for a game world, each annual can teach you new things you don't already know about mapping with this software.
  • ScottA, I know there are good things in the annuals, but when I've just dropped $300 on CC3+ and assorted addons, yeah, it's expensive. Especially when there is probably a small amount out of each that I would actually be able to use.
Not to mention, if I could afford all the back issues to get the few things I want, it would be a lot of work sifting through them.
It would be nice if Profantasy could offer various items from the annuals as small addons for small fees each.

    Moderator Notice:
Discussing the annuals is way off topic for this thread. While we try not to be too strict about off-topic comments here and there, I think this thread deserves not to turn into an annual discussion, so I'll kindly request everyone to let futher discussion of the annuals lie, at least as far as this thread is concerned. You are all of course welcome to start a new topic discussing annuals if you so please, as the annual is certainly on-topic for this forum in general.

Let's all discuss Sue's wonderfull roofs instead, thanks.

Well guys, I guess I kind of semi-started that off by mentioning dollars, so I'm sorry :)

On from here, this thread has gotten kind of on the long side now, and since most of what is here is either already published, or about to be published, what I'm going to do now is start a new thread with the next set of rooftops - that's once I've got around to doing them. By my reckoning that would be the rest of the temples, which I haven't done yet because I allowed myself to get a bit distracted by the domes.

Thanks for all the comments on this one, and hope to see you all on the next one :)
