Wall-cutting problems
... in DD3+. I recently bought the SS4 "Dungeons of Schley" and started a try to recreate the Curse of Strahd "Blue Water Inn" using this style. So I did the walls using the "default wall" tool", which worked okay. But then I tried to insert the Entrance doors, and miserably failed. First, I tried to just smack on the door ... I chose it from the icons, I hovered it over the section of wall I wanted to put it, the icon aligned itself correctly, and then I clicked to actually put it down. What happened was the door being blotted down in a 90°-angle to the wall it has previously been aligned to, and no cut in the wall being there (see picture below). Then, neither the "break" tool nor the "wall cutter" tool seem to be effective.
What am I missing?

@seycyrus:There's only one copy of the wall, and it's on the walls sheet.(I just used the tools described above, and they auto-placed the entities)
@pvernon: The "grid line" you see on the left side actually is the mouse cursor, which on the right side isn't there anymore because it's outside the frame.
So the problem is the aligning etc. working fine before the cllick, the spontaneous turning of the object and nothing happening to the wall after/at the click as well as other tools for splitting/cutting the wall not having an effect on the wall either.
Anyhow, I tried to make a new map to test if there's a global problem, but there it seems to work. So there probably is just a problem with this individual map and I'll just start over with it.
doesn't seem to be the case here, though. Any chance you can post the FCW?
Also, what style is that, SS4 Dungeons of Schley? (EDIT: I'm an idiot. I see you mentioned that right off the bat. *sigh*)
FCW below.
I think doors and other wall-cutting features have an issue when trying to cut a wall on a side with endpoints on them. At the very least, they seem to have a real problem when you try to cut a wall where two ends meet.
I've attached a fix below (note the modified filename).

I'm looking forward to the finished map, presuming you'll post it like you have the others in your "Curse of Strahd" series.
Cheers!
