It's an Outstanding map, Cal. The more I look at it the more I like it. I love your use of colour, and the names are spot on for a Scandinavian style area.
For some reason the ice seems foggy / blurry. My opinion is make it more foggy, or less foggy. Go all in with winter landscape, or not at all. Stay cohesive with the overall effect of the rest of the map.
Only one criticism - I think the red of the cities is a bit too vibrant - I wonder if a darker red would suit better. But I am in awe of what you and Sue's style have achieved together.
I am not going to write verses or technical analyses — I am just trying to record the impact. This map is, without exaggeration, a true masterpiece in progress.

The numbers on the scale are a little small. Maybe a little bigger.

What overland style did you use?
This uses Birdseye Continental from the current 2025 annual.

Mostly the North East is where I notice it.
Unless that is the jpeg compression.
@Don Anderson Jr.
As far as I recollect, I haven't altered Ms. Sue's settings on that particular sheet. I have on others for my own artistic style heh.
But I'll take a look of course.

I really like the part 3 map. It's got a ton of interesting things going on.
The smallest text is very blurry. Even on my 65 inch screen at 4k, so I really think it must be the jpeg compression affecting the images.
Yea I downloaded part 3 and it was a mere 368kb, so it's the compression / size

I'm wondering if these colors are the base colors of the raw CC3 file or if you've already worked on them in an image editor?
Thanks all,
@Ricko The colors are as presented in the style. I didn't touch them. And thanks for the critique my friend!
Cal
@Quenten I'll certainly try others.
Colors are very strong <3
