Following a line

Getting back to mapping after a long absence.

I'm drawing a modern city map and started with drawing the coast and ocean. I want to draw a polygon with one side matching the coast line. I thought there was a command to draw a line following another line from one selected spot to a second.

When you use a drawing tool, it has a trace feature.
