It’s been awhile since I’ve done this. I assume once @Ralf works his magic and I get CC3+ running on the Mac, to install all the add-ons I just install them as unlisted software in the Campaign Cartographer 3+ bottle?
@Ralf hooked me up with a different installer which installed the software with no runtime error.
When I started CC3+ I received a License Key Invalid error message.
Ralf suggested running the latest update as an admin. Crossover does not have an option for this. After a quick Google search, apparently Crossover is set to this by default. Installed the update once that was fully installed (unticked the Run CC3+ Now checkbox and let Crossover do it's thing), started CC3+, still getting the License Key Invalid message.
Tried to use the Uninstaller to Repair the program but Crossover asks to select a file. Navigated to the Program Application folder but no .exe file to select (they're there but hidden) so not sure how, or if it's possible, to do this...
@Kertis Henderson this is exactly the sort of thing I was referring to in my earlier posts.
I'm glad I'm only using the trial version of Crossover ATM and haven't forked out any $$.
Hopefully, a solution can be found before the trial expires. I would really like to get CC3+ up and running on my Mac. Then I have to decide which license to purchase, the annual $72 USD or lifetime $495-ish USD (which is about +30% in AUD)...decisions, decisions.
@Ralf has come back with a few things to check out, which I will do once I get home. Customer service does not get any better than this and I am extremely grateful for his assistance with this issue.
If there is no result there, I'll delete CC3+ and Crossover and start with fresh installs of both programs. If that doesn't resolve the issue, I guess my only other option is to revert back to a Bootcamp install which is a bit of a pain but I know that will work.
I'm installing this into a Win 10 x64 bottle, I wonder if perhaps that should be a Win x32 bottle?
My excitement at having CC3+ installed on my Mac has waned considerably as the install is having some issues:
DD3 - Room and corridor tools don't function properly - unable to change floor fill.
SS3 - Won't install at all, installer hangs.
SS5 & SS6 - Runtime errors with installer, see below:

Not wasting anymore time on this. I've not bothered with installing the annuals.
I can only assume my Mac has some quirk that is preventing an effective Crossover/CC3+ installation. Perhaps my original, failed attempt at installing WINE has left some artifact or other that is interfering with the process, who knows.
I'm not particularly keen on doing a Bootcamp install at the moment, so I'll persevere with the occasional connection issues with my work PC for the immediate future...
Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions, particualrly @Ralf.
i do have one more option , if you have a spare pc you could install linux on that and then install the linux version of crossover , this hopefully would allow you to install cc3+ on the linux box. you can then do an export to archive using crossover and then an import from archive on your mac , note you cannot import to the same name if you have an existing install on your mac

Hi Suntzu,
Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I don't have a spare PC. If I did, I'd just run it natively in Windows and save all the work.

yes , however make sure you uncheck the start cc3+ checkbox at the end of the installation if using crossover ( not sure if using wine directly )
I am running CC+ under Oracle Virtual box.
The "catch" with my arrangement is that is Virt Win10 running under Win10 - so I don't know if it will work under MAC

That sucks you are having such issues. I hope you triumph
It certainly does @Don Anderson Jr. !

I'm back baby! @Ralf sorted things out for me. What a gem of a bloke!
Hung, or maybe it was just me being impatient, installing SS3, so I quit and will re-attempt tomorrow when I'm not so tired.
My plan is to install all the SSs and then the Annuals, just to ensure everything is as it should be, prior to committing to a licence.
Once I've decided on the licence, annual, or lifetime, I'll install the Vinityri collection leaving TT 1 & 2, CA and Perspectives, till I need them.
Yay!
