Desert map for a commission
I think your maps are fantastic Quenten, but when I see them I can't help thinking that with that art style you could do a geological map of a world. showing where the different ages of rock are, and hence where you may find gemstones, metal deposits (such as gold tin, lead), coal, and oil etc.
Just to show an insane level of detail.

WIP - Naktamun District Map
I've made a few adjustments using the suggestions above. I didn't like the interior boundaries between districts so I put those south of the river on 1 sheet, and those north of the river on another sheet. I might divide them with a dark line to see how that looks.
It still needs a little tidying up though, but I think Monsen was right about a district map over individual buildings.

WIP - Naktamun District Map
In a previous post Monsen advised me against making a huge city map with regular building symbols and suggested I start with a district map with major features.
Here is what I've done so far.
I'm going to make the river smaller (and make it fit the map this time), but does anyone know a technique where I can make the different districts more 3D, and does anybody have any ideas for how I can show the Hekma (a water based magical barrier that protects the city from the desert). I'm using Mike Schley again for the map.
Any other ideas of how I can improve the map will be appreciated.

Gaelic influenced lands
This is another land (island) from my campaign world. The island lies to the east of Elloran and is one of the Eilean islands. It is inspired by Gaelic culture (Irish and Scottish Gaelic), and Tolkien's original stories (before LOTR was published), as well as by the AD+D Moonshae supplement by Douglas Niles. It is where the great kings of humans and their descendants originate from.
In Role playing terms it is almost the perfect land to set an AD+D game in. All the demi-human races have a homeland here (even the halflings). Barbarian invaders and migrants from Fomorria have occupied the northern part of the island, and the interior is overrun by goblinoids.
This is also the seat of power of the Tolari Gnomes. They are more akin to elves and men than traditional AD+D gnomes, and they mine the rare white metal Aulor which they use to forge their armour and weapons.
Their Capitol is Torlandis and the seven great sidhes.
I have included the full map, a terrain map, and the original map I used as a trace. I can't remember when I drew the original but I'm fairly sure it was over 20 years ago.
