  • Bone Hill and Environs

Here is my attempt at 'The Secret of Bone Hill' module maps from the L series of modules from 1981.

I was inspired by pkfrye's map in his gallery. I produced the wilderness map using Mike Schley's style. Originally it was going to look too much like pk's map, so I changed which tools I was using and tried to base it on an Ordnance Survey map style using the contour lines from the original map.

Restenford is the first city/town map I have finished. I have begun others but am struggling creating decent looking cities so I though if I trace a map it may help with my own creations. I used the default Bitmap A style for this.

Comments and critiques are most welcome.

  • Cosmology

Here is the star system for my campaign world. Once again, this is not new material but was created in the early 90's. It's so great to able to depict it in a dedicated program, because the original version using circles in Microsoft Excel just doesn't compare.

Looking at the map though makes me want to go spelljammimg this weekend.

    You rank me sir!

I just love these old adventures and seem to spend most of time reproducing maps from my RPG past. It's just wonderful to see these old blue and white/black and white maps reproduced with such fantastic symbols, backgrounds and effects.

Recently I've been working on the iconic battlemaps from the 'D' series of modules, all those tunnels and caves, which I will upload here when I've finished them.

Although I really need to start D.M.ing again, with all these great resources I'm running out of excuses as to why I haven't done so recently.

  • Battlemaps for Ravnica

Here are 2 very simple maps I've made to be used as battlemaps, or for flavour, for a Ravnica game.

    Hi Nevermet,

I would reduce the size of the settlements and roads, and as Wyvern said just move the trees a little around those features.

I find the size of the settlements too big in Mike's style, and always halve (at least) them for the maps I make, which have all been in his style so far.
