The whole idea of a John Speed-like CD symbol catalogue is nothing short of awe-inspiring, I think. And plain, regular inspiring, too.

From a year ago: The Rot - Gothenburg cathedral now in colour!

It's actually a little tempting to adopt a two-year cycle with the first being devoted entirely to sketches, followed up by colourizing. You know, slowing down the time to map completion even more!

With regards to composition, I don't find it too busy; with no colours there is only so much you can convey without placing a symbol, after all.

I am looking for symbol slip-ups but you seem to be on top of the back-to-front way of doing things. So, yeah; fantastic first regional map, says I!

Also, I half expected a giant foot to stomp the ship in the section maps: those clouds have some serious Terry Gilliam-qualities to them! Outstanding.

@Monsen would insist that it's not really a map, of course. Which kind of makes me want to put continents on it. An entire world sitting in a corner of a box is probably one of the cooler takeaways from the Men in Black series.
