I now have 2 columns, out of 7, all 4 versions ( jpg with and without grid, and png with and without grid ) uploaded to two pages.

I think I found a less tedious way to do these maps... make one large map of the same type, then use Irfanview to chop them up into 7 columns and 7 rows of maps. Anyway, my typos have increased, so I'm stopping my work on this for now. 5 more columns of zip files to do. And typing up the short text file descriptions.

What steampunk I've seen, doesn't include stainless steel. Mostly cast iron. Large bolts holding large objects together type thing.

I don't remember anything that looked like aluminum. As far as I know, that takes huge amounts of electricity to refine from bauxite.

As for the arc-generating items mentioned above... the original set for the Mummy comes to mind. Jacob's Ladder, huge gear wheels, arcs and sparks.
