Note that the next update (the one currently in public beta) have an improved version of the text along a curve command that handles this issue.

The need for a 0,0 point was removed some versions ago. There's still an entity on each sheet, but it is a special entity you won't see in your map.

The bug should be fixed now. I had a function for getting the root of the file name that naively expected the only period in a file name to be the separator between name and extension.
