Yeah, it's just a note of the file type the pdf was printed from. Do you have Photoshop available? I'd try opening the map within that to see whether it can recover it.

Campaign Cartographer does not open pdf files, only FCW files (CC3's own format). You don't happen the original FCW file lying around somewhere?

Like Remy says, proper code-signing is effectively essential for a reputable software publisher. We changed certificate providers recently, and of course they need to authenticate you to make sure that you are really the company you claim to be. That took a little longer than expected and clashed with GenCon. Rather then postpone the Annual entirely, I opted to release it unsigned at first. It is now updated (also with fixes to the metric template) and properly code-signed.

Just a quick note that there will no live mapping videos this week or next. I'm at GenCon (and preparing for it), and Remy is away for the next couple weeks. We'll see you (or more exactly you us) again in the second week of August!
