  • Symbol Set 1 and 2 not showing.

SS1 and SS2 don't have their own buttons. They just add styles and assets to CC3+ and DD3 respectively and make use of those buttons. Just start a new map in one of the styles headed by SS1 or SS2, and you'll get access to those assets.

  • Staff seems to be getting on in the years, what's the future of this software? I'm hoping (F)OSS.

Hi there! Thanks for your suggestions. Be assured that we are discussing the future of the sofware internally and are planning for it, but please also understand that it is not a discussion for a public forum at this time. Keep up the mapping!

  • CC3 is Installing Data on the Wrong Drive

The CC3+ files are split into two locations:

    1. Program files (exe and dlls): This goes into your default Windows program folder and is not adjustable during setup. The size of the folder is small and will not increase significantly with any further installs.
    2. Program data (everything else): This is adjustable during setup. It contains the vast majority of data in CC3+ (all the image source files for example).

If you really need to, you can move the program files folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Profantasy\CC3plus) to a different location after setup. Just move the folder over, adjust your desktop shortcut to point to the new location and run CC3+ once).

  • The Blautann

Das Schwarze Auge was created when TSR wanted to high licensing fees for a German-version of D&D back in 1984 and became THE German rpg because they were backed by a major German boardgame company (Schmidt Spiele). It's been dominating the German rpg (with ups and downs of course) ever since.

It's game world "Aventurien" has a continuing official history since at least the late 80s, and as a consequence is the most detailed fantasy world that I know of. The amount of available (not not-available-anymore) content is just staggering.
