Cosmology
Here is the star system for my campaign world. Once again, this is not new material but was created in the early 90's. It's so great to able to depict it in a dedicated program, because the original version using circles in Microsoft Excel just doesn't compare.
Looking at the map though makes me want to go spelljammimg this weekend.

Mega Continent
Thanks for all the great comments, and I am heavily influenced by Tolkien, and my world is inspired by his works. Someone read my world history once and laughed and said it's just like Tolkien (which they meant as a put down). It's very different to Tolkien, but I want the feel of it to be Tolkien so I took the put down as high praise indeed.
@Ricko Hasche I will try to do a vid soon showing how I go about doing coastlines and islands if that will be any help.

Possible map for roll20 game
Another similar problem to using a published game world is running a published adventure, especially these days. You have to assume at least 1 person (if not everyone) has read the adventure or knows something about it.
My advice, mix it up. Change names, add plots/sub-plots, max up some monsters, min down others. Add new elements in the adventure. I'll be running Saltmarsh, but I'm already working on making it a Lovecraftian Horror (or at least themes of this) so there will be foreshadowing from the start of evil fish-men and their ancient masters out of time, in their cyclopean city beneath the waves.
I'm thinking Dagon if anyone is familiar with that story. If not I recommend reading it, it's a classic Lovecraft tale.
