What kind of music do you listen while mapping?
This is what i usually do. I've been a fan of the show since it's beginnings and it is has been a habit of mine to put on an old favorite episode from campaign 1 on my 2nd monitor while doing my own D&D prep. Often, i find myself stopping and rewinding for tips and tricks from Matt's campaign or battles to add into my own. It's actually what got me to try DMing since ours had just bailed around 2005 and eventually lead me to mapping out my teenage fantasy world I had created back when I thought i wanted to be a writer :)

Suggestions for a Map and Vintyri
It's not likely you'll find many free symbols for commercial use. You might want to reach out to some artists directly, but most artists don't give their work freely so others can make a profit off of it at least without giving permission directly and certainly wanting credit for their efforts. I've used other artists symbols "within" my maps, but have gotten written permission from them, but distributing their symbols for use on a VTT platform? I don't think that's going to be easy to find. Maybe offer a commission to an artist? Since you will be making money on your product, you might offer a small percentage to an artist for each one sold? Check out DeviantArt or post in some FB groups?
As for a map suggestion.....maybe use DD3 and add in some symbols from Here Be Monsters? or the Myrklund style? Or if you're into a more photorealistic style, then stick with the CSUAC2, Bogie's and the DA symbols, they are excellent

Well, the style/template you choose for your maps usually have a set sheet order, but you can alter that as you get more proficient with the program and more comfortable with it. For now, i would stick with the predetermined sheet order.
However, think of your sheets like the order of a picture, with the top sheets as your first layers of paint, and each sheet a new layer, or color of paint - if that analogy helps (it did for me). And, if i am trying to figure out where a sheet falls or what might be on a sheet, you can always hide all the sheets and then systematically show one at a time ;)

Tegel Manor and Environs
I did it with a 5" grid. The map is drawn to scale, as i traced each room from the original Judges Guild version, but i prefer a 5" grid to a 10" for my battles as do my players. I've done a technique that can be found in the Tome where you can put a grid on your Floor Sheet and have done that here in the attached png, it won't be possible to match it to the VTT exactly, since it's aligned only to the floorplan and not the whole map. i usually place my grids this way so I can sometimes make them different colors, etc or have a grid in once place, but not in another on a battle map. I'll try to post a link to a copy of a good high res version with my grid on the floors. I'm not sure how long that will take, since it takes a long while as it sometimes does close to 30 passes over my many many many many sheets while saving
