I've come up with I think a completely different iso dungeon setup. I'll start a new thread for it.

Windows did a number on various software help files by not keeping them up to date.

We are rather helpful. And there are videos on YouTube as well.

Starting at the top and 'back ' is the best way.

Placing a floor piece at the bottom on a stairs is something you have to learn. Back then to the 'front ' of the stairs.

Mostly I had to experiment.

I now have the maps labeled in the fcw file. So hopefully I won't post the wrong map in a thread.

Might work. I'll have to go to an earlier version as trying to delete just the stair symbols is going to be difficult.

I do save as often, and increment the number at the end of the file name with each one.

The larger the map scale, fewer details.

So a world would have continents and oceans named. Maybe a circle and name for major cities. Rivers the size of the Amazon and Nile.

Region maps would have more details.

County/province maps more details.

Town/city maps have the most details.

I did take one continent I liked in FT3+, exported it as a bmp, then imported it into a small template and made a large island out of it. I used the bmp as a guide for the new map. Best to import with a new sheet and layer in CC3+. That way you can delete the bmp when you are done. Leaving just the new map for a smaller fcw size.

Make sure layer for walls and wall features are not frozen. Did that to myself just a couple of days ago.

I've added a number of rooms, furniture, chests, debris,etc. to this map. I'll upload tonight or Thursday.

Another question. By eye, I think the steps on this piece touch the floor a few stair symbols back. Or this is correct ?

I don't know which one.

Should I leave it the way it is ? Or erase some of the stair symbols ?
