Still working on my Traveller site. Nothing uploaded yet, but I have about 100 planet maps on 4 sectors. Just have to do the uwp for each, post articles, and do a few solar system maps.

The Hidden level 01. Small amounts of small coins in the stone building, debris. A passages behind rocks.

But climbing the rocks, a light can be shined and that being will see, a wooden door leading somewhere.

3000 pixel jpg in my gallery. I have another level in mind, but I'll have to look over the Annual issue to see what I can do with it.

The small building ? Rather small, but a gnome or two could live there... were they searching ? Or guarding ?

    1) cave entrance, small building, 3 skeletons guard the room behind the rocks.

    2) a short passage blocked by rocks and other such debris.

    3) a continuation of 2.

    4) a rectangular room with 2 skeletons, with weapons. Why were the weapons not looted long ago ? Or are they traps ?

    5) 4 small piles of wood debris

    6) a circular room. water filled pit. A spiral metal stairs.

    7) three sacks of something.

Edit. Left out the word 'not ' in front of looted.

Update; some room symbols have been added. Please post any suggestions or criticisms.

1 ) entrance from level 2. Has two trees showing autumnal leaves.

2 ) barricades, 2 broken barrels, a ballista, and two piles of skulls east of the barricades.

3 ) a large circular room; partioned off is a living area with beds, a stove, table and chairs, food storage. A crate of pears and a crate of apples. Outside the partition are two crates with valuable looking stone heads and a barrel.

4 ) empty of all but dust, no foot prints. A ranger of elf might spot that there were footprints, but they have been smoothed over. Side room has wood debris and a small chest.

5 ) A cave and a passageway that leads to the north side of The Hidden hill.

6 ) A room of an outer rectangular 'ring' and an inner rectangular room. Giant beetles in the outer area, two trolls with meat trays so they don't attack the beetles, and one small 10' x 10' x 10' room where a lone adventurer died while trying to avoid being eaten by either the trolls or the beetles.

7 ) Two trees, a cauldron, and a table. Anyone entering the room and walking over to the cauldron or table will hear whispering 'climb into the cauldron for a nice hot bath...'. How the trees will dine on whomever climbs into the cooking cauldron is unknown.

8 ) An L-shaped room off the passageway. The secret door is marked by the wood debris. A broken board and a small chest are in the room.

9 ) A hidden room. Three heads on spikes seem to be a warning, but only two broken chairs are visible.

    10 A ) tropical trees

10 B ) Winter/snow trees with two ogres who are ordered to defend the chest and crates.

10 C ) Desert cacti, with giant ants guarding the area.

5000 pixel jpg in my gallery so you can see the details.

This and other posts have over one thousand views.

Folks, say something to the mappers. Do a like. I at least like a like feedback.

    Likes help me make maps.

Added more trails, different tree coverage areas, some farmland near Old Silver. And another hill with a cave, maybe it is the real silver lode/adventure area ?

The different tree symbol sizes is supposed to reflect the different tree coverage areas.

Update, let me know what you think. 3000 pixel jpg in my gallery.

Text down from 20 to 15. I didn't change the mountains and the ocean names.

Added forests in symbols and the two forest tools. I may make a scrubland tool. The changes are all in the mountains, or nearby to them.

I need to keep an eye on the sheet shown before I place the symbols.

Oh, in case some folks don't want to click on the link.

I had to make the brick fill larger than I wanted, as at smaller scale it looks like a rolling series of ridges. I currently have it set to 100, but it was at 20. That's scaled width and height. DD3 Color\Brick Brown V_LO.PNG. I jumped up the mosaic to.

I just noticed it is very low.png

  • a small quick dungeon, now with adventure text

    simple and quick dungeon

    1) main entrance. 7.5 feet x 14 feet.

    skeletal remains on the left.

    2) blood trail leads off to room 3.

    23' x 60' x 10' high.

Mosaic floor shows former grandeur. Edges are squares, looks like it has been recently worked on. No sign of tools.

Opening to room 3 to the left. Wood door to room 4, which has 2 ogres.

Stone door to the right that leads to a second door into room 6.

    3) 31' x 25' x 12' high

4 skeletons and a dead body of a lone adventurer, or maybe a farmer who found a hole in his land. Two piles of hand cut boards.

    4) 40' x 56' x 20' high

2 ogres in a maze of wood and stone walls. The walls vary from 3' to 5' in height.

    5) 40' x 55' x 15' high

Sacks could hold grain, but why do they rattle when moved ?

Debris with skeletons, and a number of skulls, in front of the ballista. Broken furniture. Rough surface carved out, never finished.

    Wood pallisades, 6' high.

Two small chests behind the ballista with reloads magically. Are the bolts deadly ? Or just illusions ?

    Wood debris.

    6) 32' x 27' x 15' A former Throne room ? Then why the pit ?

Second door coming from room 2. This second door has holes from vision, and spears.

The mosaic is much nicer and looks recently inlaid. No sign of tools.

Six wooden chairs and a throne. No remains in the pit.

    7) 8' x 12' x 10' A room behind a secret door.

Rocks block access to a chest.
