Still working on my Traveller site. Nothing uploaded yet, but I have about 100 planet maps on 4 sectors. Just have to do the uwp for each, post articles, and do a few solar system maps.

I can change them, but remember that Kilimanjaro is on the equator and had snow on it.

  • Crestar, Southern Hemisphere, Dwarf Home, take 2

Row 2 map. I've worked on it a bit.

    1) two trolls, water, 5 skeletons, a torch on the wall

    2) a dining area, stove, etc. with a barrier apparently keeping a bow and shield from attacking the diners.

    3) store room, treasure

    4) a failed defense area. Two opened chests, skeletons of the defenders.

    5) two mummies guarding an empty chest, with a chest and two books behind one of the mummies.

    6) skeleton at the bottom of a pit, no visible spikes.

    7) empty of all but dust.

Upper right, needs work. I have some things to do today. So I'll probably work on this tomorrow or Monday.

Leaves bitmap fill on the floor, and a yellow color upper right. Transparency of 50% on both.

  • Community Atlas - Forlorn Archipelago - Fisher Isle, several villages and surrounding areas

I fixed the map border. Added a few symbols, not done yet. But here is the preliminary rooms/area descriptions.

    5E

    1) continous cave area.

    2) old guard room. Some signs of recent habitation.

    3) more cave; the blue mushrooms glow on pixie holidays. The orcs have learned to not touch nor destroy them.

    4) a cave with a campfire and a pile of wood. Defensive rocks at the entrance.

5 & 6) working on ideas for these caves.

    7) pixie dance ring, not used due to the orcs

    8) an area of some cover, could be used for ambushes.

Only obvious thing for me to do is label the map with its name. Anyway, here it is. I'll add more if you want.

Sometimes insperation doesn't work for a bit of time.

With my own world, I don't have to worry about missing reading something a player has read.

  • Searching for symbols for WW2 and modern military vehicles, artillery etc.

You might look at a youtube channel 'Military History Viualized'. The guy that runs it is from Austria, he makes nothing political, just shows the gear and explains how it was used, and some gear failures on both fronts. He covers the models of all AFV and others like trucks and jeeps. Rocket launchers, etc.

I noticed when he quotes a book, he shows the original text below if it is not written in English.

His other channel is 'Military History Not Visualized'.

He has visited various museums to show more detail than a drawing or photo might show.

Mark Felton is a British military historian, but his are more situations and battles.

I also suggest, subject change' looking up 'When Hotels Went to war' by Drachinifel. Pre-dreadnaughts that do look like hotel lower floors on a cruiser hull.

But the first two are more likely to have what you want.

    Edit. Corrected the channel names.
