It does disappear if there is overlap.

The comments on fb are:

1) a path leading to stones ? A barrow or fogou entrance ?

2) The remains of a camp, 'protected' on one side by the cliff. Perfect for star gazing.

I can read both, but the black looks a bit better.

Here we go, this hides the sharp edges of the water.

To me, the ones on the left look like worn cliffs. The ones on the right look like the sudden drop off of the Cliffs of Dover.
