FT3+?
FT3+ uses a new data directory, similar to CC3+, instead of keeping files in the installation directory, so you'll need to copy it to there if you want easy access. Strictly speaking, the terraformer material doesn't really integrate with FT, it just provides a bunch of files FT can use, so it can live mostly anywhere, but inside the new data directory (c:\program data\ProFantasy\FT3) is the best place to keep them for easy access.

Where are the Tutorial File locations?
You should find the full user manual in @Documentation, as well as the Tome if you own it. All the files in @Tutorial should belong to one of the pdf's in @Documentation. Remember, even the quick start guides and essentials can have support files, they are mostly similar to the annual documentation, with a quick walkthrough of the program/add-on and making a sample map with it. The files in @Examples are just pure examples for you to look at, with no accompanying documentation.
For a Schley-based tutorial, I guess the first map tutorial in the manual would be the place to go. (And/Or the one in the Tome)

Tool Bar Buttons
Everyone have the CC3, DD3 and CD3 buttons, as both dungeon and city tools are included in the CC3+ base these days (Only the tools, you need the products to have the artwork, but the tools are very useful with artwork from other products, like SS4/5 or the annuals)
The WW2 button should be added as long as you have the WWII.mnu file in your data directory (which should be put there by the installer).

Ushuaia - End od the World - Land of Fire
Looks very nice, but since you have gone for a more "expanded" settlement view, instead of a single symbol, maybe that dashed line for the road isn't the best, as it crashes a bit with the rest of the visual. Those dashed lines work best when you keep everything on an "abstract" level (Such as using a single symbol to represent a town).

Is there any way to set "Night Mode" in the UI?
CC3+ doesn't have a way of changing the colors of the UI.
However, you can change the map background color from white to black (View -> View-Window Color, and set it to color 0), this will get rid of a lot of the white. Not sure if that is enough for your use case or not, since the rest of the UI will still be the standard light grey. (Note that this setting is a per-map setting, so you can't set it globally, and once you set the background black, you'll probably immediately notice the white screen that is around most maps, which then also can be changed to black via :CC2MCHANGE: on the entity)

Which Tools can Trace?
None of the basic tools from the right toolbars can trace. That is an advanced feature only available on the various draw tools (hit :CC2DRAWTOOLS: to list the tools for the current style).
If you need something not there, you can always make your own tool by duplicating an existing one and setting the shape (and other properties) to what you need.

Input a scanned map
You can easily import one or more scanned map into CC3+.
Do note that it will only be a flat background element, it won't be converted to actual CC3+ symbols and entities, and won't be modifiable inside CC3+, as CC3+ isn't an image editor. What most people do is to import a scanned map and keep it as a background image to trace over inside CC3+, to basically recreate the map in CC3+, using the scanned map as a guide.
You can also keep the scanned map as a background element and place things on top of it, but that might look a bit weird, depending on the map, since the style of the background probably won't match the style of the CC3+ symbols.
