Nope, no CD, only downloads as far as I know. You subscribe for a year and receive the download link every first of the month (sometimes even the day before). You can purchase old annuals (2007 and 2008) and download all the issues in one package though.
It was just confusing, because I went to purchase one and it gave me the option of doing the "just download" or the "Box and download" for 7 dollars more

I might be wrong there. If it gives you the choice between download or box, previous annuals might have been made as CDs too. Wait for an answer from a PF team member please.
We release the collected issues of a year as a boxed product when the year is through. So yes, you can buy both the 2007 (Vol 1) and 2008 Annuals (Vol 2) as boxed or download versions. The 2009 Annual will be available as a boxed version in 2010.
1. Not sure. I have a charges.fsc symbol catalog but I don't know if it came with CC3
2. Of course. It's the whole point of CA15 (2008). The annual has many symbols to give you a huge amount of possibilities to create easily your own heraldry with an "how to" guide.
When it comes to downloading, is it possible to download multiple times, and if so, how many times. (For use on multiple computers in the same house, laptop and desktop.)
And is their anyway to re download or back up the program installer, in the case that once you've downloaded the program your computer crashes?
Thanks again for answering all my questions, you guys are really helpful.
I think that as long as you are a registered user and Profantasy is in business, you can always go to your registration page and redownload the installers. I recently bought a new computer and a few years (not sure when I bought it exactly, but it has been quite a while ago) after buying CC3 I had no problem downloading the installer again from my registration page. Also you could back up the installers yourself.
Ok, I'm trying to get the annul bundle, and I only get Boxed + Download as an option, for 7$ more. No option for just the download. Am I missing something?
As far as I understand, 2007 & 2008 annuals are available as Boxed for those who didn't subscribe only. For the 2009 annual you can still subscribe and get the download january-july issues separatedly.

I would contct ProFantasy on this issue. It seems strange that you are able to order all the annuals separately for download only, but not the annual bundle. I don't think I've ever seen a modern PF product that requires to be shipped. This page contains contact information for shopping.

Another question, is it possible to buy only certain months of the annuals?
Thanks
Would be nice if someone explained all that to me

I just checked my PF account and that doesn't seem to be an option...
And can you make you're own heraldry symbols with the 2008 annual?

There is a thread about multiple installs but cannot find it again. I think I remember you can use up to 3 installs provided it's non-commercial.
Ah, here is the thread :
