Posted By: MonsenAny maps submitted to the atlas during the month of February are eligible for the contest. For clarity, we use the UTC+0 time zone to determine when February begins and ends.
At the time of this posting, it should be 32 hours left of the competition.
While the maps will always be welcome in the atlas, the time limit for the contest needs to stay firm, so we cannot accept late entries unfortunately.
In preparation for the random drawing, can anyone who reads this whisper me a message with a number. I will use sum of the first five numbers I receive as a random seed for generating a random ordering of the participants over at random.org for determining the winners of the random draws. I will be using the sum of numbers from five different people because that means that no single individual can affect the randomness of the outcome, and by using a fixed number as the seed, the drawing can be reproduced by anyone who wish to check. The range of the list I will generate will be the number of maps entered into the contest.
Thanks, I now have all the five random numbers I need, posted by Shessar, Kathorus, Josh.P., Dogtag and ScottA. I'll publish the numbers when the time for the drawing is ready, and each of those five people will be able to see that I haven't modified their numbers, and moderators can also check all of them against the original whispers.
On the last day of the contest, Lorelei submitted this map. Thanks for participating.
Remember, all the maps are listed in the second post of this thread, and all maps are clickable to see them in a higher resolution on the atlas website.
With the contest now nearing it's end (6 hours left as I write this), make sure that I have received all your maps. I don't have any unprocessed maps in my inbox right now, so if anyone have submitted anything that isn't listed in the entries, make sure to notify me as quickly as possible. I cannot accept maps for the competition after the deadline, even if it was because of an email that never arrived (safest option is to upload it in a whisper here in the forum, since you then can see yourself that it arrived, even if I don't see it until after the time limit, the timestamp in the forum will prove that it was handed in before the time limit). And of course, if anyone is planning to send a last-minute entry, make sure you double check that you actually attach the map (and the right one). While late maps will always be welcome in the atlas, in interest of fairness for all, I need to stick with the time limits for the contest.
The contest is now over, and voting for best map has begun. You can find the poll in the first post in this thread, along with more information. Go Vote!

The poll appear at the bottom of the first post at every page of the thread. Because of whispers in this thread, which post that is will vary, but I believe your post is the one for everyone who have not whispered me anything during the contest.

It's now less than 24 hours left of the voting period. Don't forget to cast your vote, and remember, we want everyone to vote for best map, also those that didn't partake in this contest themselves.
