Coming Soon! This is giving me a lot of work, since I'm working with practically all the images on the same Sheet (symbols), so I have to do it line by line, from the top to the bottom.
I literally gasped out loud when I saw this. It's amazing. And to do it with the symbols on the same sheet...that requires such discipline and such a clear mental image of what you're working towards. Very impressive.
As expected, this time it's a MS-style volcano. I have an idea of the center of the painting, but not yet the entire design. We'll see what the final image turns out to be in this freehand.
This annual doesn't directly a volcano image, but by gently altering the image on the X and Y axes, I was able to give it a reasonably similar appearance to an inactive volcano.
Last in the collection, I decided to try something with a "psychedelic" touch of saturated colors and the Overland Vector Color palette turned out to be very good for that.
This whole thread is brilliant. I love the approach of taking a theme and exploring how to create it in different map styles. It's conceptually similar to Lorelei's "All the Annuals" approach -- a way of showcasing different ways of using CC3 to make an idea come to life.

Great work as usual, Ricko!
Now using Herwin wielink style
Cheers
That is some very brave, or foolhardy ship!!!
Surely 50.50 🤣
I love these! Herwin Weilink is my favorite symbol style, and I really enjoy seeing how people use his stuff.
That top-down view is excellent!

Wow, this is already amazing.

Ricko, these are amazing. Each one that you do gets better and better and I find your maps to be very inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
Using Fantasy Handdraw for a close-up drawing was more difficult than I imagined. This image only came out after the 4th attempt.
I'd say it was worth the effort. I love this one!
Nice. That last one is great.
I continue the sequence, this time with Monkey Frog Overland.
An arid place, but not too arid. I used Scorching Sun Overland, Alicia Faden Clouds and MS Natural Cracks on floor... and Edge Stripe in the rivers.
Cheers.
This time using only the Pär Lindström Overland style
I can't stop😅🌋

Tis is gorgeous, Ricko!

I have put into the Atlas the same map done in different styles - especially Elen Daelarion in Artemisia.
